WHALE SWIM NIUE ISLAND

We operate half day trips on our specialist Rib 'Indie Rose' both mornings and afternoons, normally departing from the main Alofi wharf.  

 

We specialise in giving you the best close up totally natural and safe encounters with Humpback Whales and Spinner dolphins that abound the warm waters around Niue Island

Morning trips depart around 8am and Afternoon trips depart around 1pm and both last around a 4 hour duration.

​

We supply you with wetsuits, fins and snorkelling gear, but you are welcome to bring your own with you to use. Please feel free to bring any camera equipment with you as there will be so much to see and take pictures of, especially of the huge breaching whales that just love to play and show off themselves and their new born calves, as well as 'Pec slapping' the surface of the ocean, diving down showing the iconic 'Whale Tail' and so much more natural behaviour.

 

Swimmers can take amazing photo's underwater of the whales & dolphins, an experience that will be with you forever!

Light snacks and refreshments are provided during our trips and you will get to hear all about the whales & dolphins, plus some local history and cultural places to see from the boat from your guide Vanessa.

As we only take a maximum of 6 persons per trip to give you the best encounters, it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment, as we are always extremely busy during whale season.
